Meet Chris

I’m Chris Reeder, and I’ve been blessed to call Adair County home my entire life.  I've been married to Windy for 6 years and the dad of Ashley and Justin, stepdad to Brooklyn, and proud Pa to Rylee, Austin, and Raylan.

I care deeply about my family, this place and the people who live here. For the past two terms, I’ve served as magistrate for District 4, working hard to be dependable, approachable, and fair in representing our community.

I graduated from Adair County High School and Lindsey Wilson College, and I’ve spent many years focused on building a stronger, more united county. My time in local government has taught me how to bring people together, form good working relationships, and build teams that can actually get things done. Those experiences have prepared me to serve as your next Judge Executive.

I’m not running for this office to hold a title; I’m running to do the work. My mission is simple: to bring dignity, honor, and respect back to the Judge Executive’s office and to make sure county government works the way it should -for you.

I believe good leadership means looking at the whole picture while still paying attention to the everyday needs of our people.

• Be proactive instead of reactive with solid plans, transparent numbers that people can trust and common-sense solutions. 

I believe leadership means constantly learning and growing. That’s why I attend meetings, conferences, and events outside Adair County, so I can bring back knowledge, resources, and solutions that make a real difference for our county.  Like you, my family calls Adair County home. I’m committed to working hard to make our county a better place for your family and mine.
